From the can pours a clear raspberry color, looking darker and red in the glass. A modest pink and mousse like head quickly dissipates.

The nose opens funky and with notes of lactobacillus and lemon pith hinting at tartness to come. Of course there are aromas of blueberry, as well as notes of fruit punch sweetness and bready malts.

Tart and moderately mouth puckering, the intensity soon mellows out as the sour becomes integrated with the blueberry flavors. Notes of lemon, lime, yogurt and peppery spices amidst a doughy, bready and wheat malt base. The finish is tart, very dry and with notes of peppery spices and a tiny hint of hops bitterness.

Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. The mouthfeel has a sharp twang from the acidity.

Solid fruited sour all around. Simple and straightforward but with a nice kick from the acidity. Refreshing.

A: The beer is clear purplish red in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow ring of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of blueberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of blueberries with a bit of sourness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and slightly creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a faint amount of tartness.
O: This beer is easy to drink, but seems one dimensional and isn't that sour.
