A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of pineapple, mango. Taste is oranges, pineapple, some notes, of mango and alcohol, moderate bitterness. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

If you are CANming late to today's show, The CANQuest (tm) would like to provide the following recap of recent events as a PSA. In CAN effort to close out Untappd's "Better Together" badge, The CANQuest (tm) assembled all of the collaboration beers (& otherwise) from Barrier BC in his extensive backlog & systematically eradicated them through perseverance, reviews & ratings, CANminating last night. The next brewery in line for this treatment is Interboro, also noted for CANned CANlaboration beers and also with a large backlog presence.
From the CAN: "Double India Pale Ale"; "Interboro x Brew By Numbers"; "Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Brew By Numbers"; "Come Visit Us and Our Tasting Room".
I beCAN with a Crack! of the vent, followed by a slow, steady C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass, but when clarity proved futile, I stepped up my game, allowing to flow freely. When you are suddenly CANfronted with two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head during the time of COVID-29, you know that you are living! I sat watching in rapt fascination as it slowly fell away, leaving massive lacing in its wake. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5), although it was hazardously close to murky/turbid. Nose smelled of citrusy grapefruit & a shot of caramel malt. Mmm. Mouthfeel was big, full, dense & creamy, like a dollop had been scooped into my mouth & onto my tongue. The taste was an eruption of tropical fruits as well as light banana & a tad bit of caramel. It was just so pleasant in juxtaposition to the previous one that I wondered if it were from the same brewery! FYI: same brewery, different CANlaborator. Mmm. Finish was semi-dry, a little sweetish for my refined taste (Ha!), but it is just a minor quibble. I must say, I am digging this series. YMMV.

A murky vanilla color on the pour with a good and sustaining white head of foam. Hoppy on the nose with light citrus fruit. Rather hop forward with lots of plush and fruity notes on the first few sips. Finishes decently bitter for the style. Fruit notes of lemon, lime, mango, pineapple, and grapefruit. A moderate body that seems to straddle the line between crisp, juicy, and creamy.
Overall, I'm not in love with it but it's pretty decent drinking.
