Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with minimal head and thin lacing.
Smell is a sweet malt with a hint of herb.
Taste is grassy, medium hop and a bit of a tart finish.

Raul is definitely a rater. When he sees a beer that he hasn’t had before, he peeps the ratings first to see if it’s worthy to buy. That being said, when it comes to Pilsners/Lagers, not so much. Like, there really aren’t that many out there in the first place. Pils and Lagers are not the Bachelorette of beers, ya feel me? Not everyone is vying for them.
Anyway, here we go...
As far as Pilsners go, this one pours a lil more dark than I am used to. No light straw here, this one is more like a cowboy hat that was left in the sun for too long. That being said, it’s not bad on the nose. This one definitely does not need a Beverly Hills rhinoplasty. Now let’s sip... Palatable, but it ain’t winning any medals, ya feel me? Not even sure if I’d give it a ribbon, a sticker or a star. It’s not bad, and I’ll drink the damn thing, but I was hoping for more from those Mumford bro’s.
Yep!
*Looking at beer now (six years later), apparently Raul thought that it was brewed by Mumford (who are now kaput). Either way, the rating is what it is. See ya!

Crystal clear, pale yellow body; coarse and sparse carbonation; patchy, rough looking thin head. Very nice aroma; lightly toasted malt base; a bit of mild herbal notes and grassy. Strong hop bitterness upfront; pungent taste over-riding the malt base; bitter. Medium body; coarse; semi-dry.
A passable pilsner but lacking depth and balance.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
