On tap at Moor Pat in Williamsville, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like spicy oak, bourbon, earthy maple, chocolate, dark fruits, coffee, etc.
This works really well for me. There's some definite silky and velvety chocolate character, along with some coffee and roasty bitterness. The barrel rounds out everything out nicely, adding (not too) sweet maple character, and a hearty and spicy oak character.
This is medium bodied, not super thick, but also not thin, with just a hint of booziness.
This was completely off my radar, but absolutely delicious for sure.
