Picked this up at Interboro last week, as I haven't been there much since this pandemic started. Big props to them for brewing for four years so of course, I had to get a can of this after hitting up KCBC for *their* 4th anniversary release. While this wasn't the best that Interboro had to offer, it was a great IPA that was in line with what I've come to expect from them over the years, with a taste that wasn't quite like what I've had from them before...

Not a bad pour to this as the liquid was the typical murky peach that I've come to expect from beers in these parts. Enough head topped it off although it wasn't extensive as the lacing left behind was in the form of thin rings near the top of my pint glass. Loads of wheat, Pilsner malt, white grape and dry white wine were in the nose as the taste followed suit. Lots of Belma and Idaho-7 in the taste as this was dank, tropical, and woody in the taste with a good amount of dryness to the mouthfeel. Some melon and dank tropical fruit rind entered the mix as this fully warmed up but overall, this was a beer that seemed more like wine than anything else!

Not a lot of booze in this as this felt more exotic than it was in actuality. A strong woody and rustic sense lingered in the aftertaste once the hops slowly faded away. Canned on 9/11, this held up well as there wasn't any sediment to be seen throughout my time with it. While not what I though it was, I enjoyed this beer from Interboro and how nuanced it was. Have this with an open mind and a shot of water for a chaser, and wish these guys all the best for the next 4 years before downing it at the end of your session!
