Look: Hazy pumpkin orange with white foam head.
Smell: Papaya and fresh cut grass. Some acorn squash as well.
Taste: Different than most IPAs but in a good way. There is papaya, and again the squash flavor. Not much bitterness but the hops still do their thing.
Feel: An easy beer, not too carbonated.
Overall: A unique IPA, I liked it.

Picked this up a week and a half ago at Interboro because well, it's Interboro and I've been there since the beginning and I only go in the city once a month since all of this crap hit the fan. When this was released right before my last run, I had to give it a go because it was a milestone beer that nearly coincided with their 4th anniversary. To my surprise, this was better than that as it flew out of my pint glass as nearly as fast as it went in, as it was that enjoyable!
Nice pour to this as the uniformly cloudy goldenrod hue was reminiscent of a wheat beer since it was subtly pleasing and had a soothing glow to it. Not a lot of head topped it off and there was even less lacing left behind as only a thin, wavy ring remained near the center of my pint glass. Very little to the aroma of this as I was caught-off guard by how plain and unassuming the light fruit flavor was in it. Thankfully, all of that took a 180 when I had the first sip. *Tons* of soft white peach, melon, grape, light wood, tangerine, cream, and slick hops hit the palate and never let go as this as soft and soothing as the pastel colors that this brought to my mind. Lots of Citra variants showed here as this was juicy, fruity, and smooth down to the last sip with the Nelson giving this a touch of dankness and rustic woodsiness that complemented the sweetness and stickiness of this quite well. The mango and honey presence were light on the taste buds but heavier on the mouthfeel as the stickiness from them grew on me as this warmed up, and lingered nicely in the aftertaste once I finished this off.
There was enough heft here but besides a nice warming effect, I hardly noticed it at all. Canned on 10/21 with "ROUND SIGN 5 HUNDRED" written above it, this was an amazing combination of juicy, dank, and nuanced with the best aspects of a dank IPA, white wine, and milkshake beer all rolled into one. Here's to another 500 from Interboro as this fabulous concoction easily proved why they're worthy of a thousandth batch!
