On draft at Interboro Ales & Spirits.
Pours a dark brown color, opaque and with notes of mahogany and ruby red. A modest foam head retains well.
Aromas of dark fruit including raisins, plum and figs. Toasty and biscuity malt aromas, with notes of caramel, dark candi sugar and a touch of chocolate.
Toasty and biscuity malt flavors, moderately sweet, are balanced by sweet cinnamon and ginger like spices as well as notes of wood. Dark fruity flavors have a subtle touch of vinous spices and include notes of raisin, currant, grape, plum and fig. The palate slightly dries throughout. The finish is smooth and semi dry.
Medium to full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate to gentle.
Very easy to drink as the alcohol is undetectable. Solid Dubbel that is on the fruity side.
