Mid sized bottle.

Pours super dark, minimal cap and minimal lace left behind.

Velvet in the mouth and super smooth as it goes down the hatch.

Sniff of dark chocolate and cafe au lait. More of the same on the palate, but its more of a fudgie brownie, denser chocolate kind of feel. Complex and densely flavorful.....intense and highly worthy impy stout......go get some

It sounded good on paper, but only got one…what a mistake. Poured cellar temp to a small snifter. It’s a deep ruddy chestnut, bordering on murky. The nose is vibrant, a mix of caramel and cigar and wood. The flavor is a bright cut of bourbon, deftly coaxing both the Weller and Beam flavors. The base malts are toward the sweet middle burnt caramel type, balanced by the somewhat hot alcohol bite and the essence of the bourbons. Mouthfeel is thick, but neither chewy nor syrupy. Overall, a great sipper, that now I wish I had more of for the cold deep winter months.
