A 330ml can with a BB of Nov 2017. Acquired a little while back from a webshop. Named after bear JJ1, also known as Bruno.
A: Poured into a tulip. Can conditioned. A light, hazy golden hue with plentiful suspended sediment and moderate carbonation. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of pale grainy malt with hints of subtle barley sugar, mild noble hops, faint grass/hay, earthy yeast and a twinge of corn. Quite subdued but clean and accurate for the style.
T: Tastes of pale malt with notes of grain, light barley sugar, faint noble hops, vague grassiness, earthy yeast and a whisper of stewed husks/corn. Very dry, with a crisp, restrained bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, lightly tingly and dry, with soft carbonation and decent body for the style. Could be a tad livelier. Aftertaste of pale malt, earthy yeast and faint noble hops.
O: A pretty good effort from Big Hug. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are clean, grainy and lightly hopped. Body is OK; a shade more carbonation is in order. Veers towards blandness - the hop character could be more pronounced, however there aren't any obvious flaws either. Worth trying if you like pilsners.

Canned and unpasteurised and unfiltered
Pours a slightly hazy golden body with a head that retreats to the edge of the glass
Some barley sugar on the nose
Lemon sherbet flavour with low level bitter finish
Okay and I'm not a pils fan and I know it's subtle but still not flavoursome enough for me
