Backyard Barn Winery and Microbrewery "Big Ass Thin Mint Milk Stout"

Notes: Opaque black body with mahogany and ruby highlights beneath a thick, creamy head of yellowed off-white foam. Limited aroma of chocolate, roastiness, and a hint of mint. The flavor is fuller than the aroma suggests with mint and dark chocolate upfront. It's kind of cake-like and sweet but then the malt fades and the mint rises, drying it and leaving a firm bitterness behind. Medium bodied with a dextrinous edge and creamy smooth.
