I am trying a 8oz pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that did not leave much lace. The scent had roast, chocolate, and booze notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet datk chocolate malt base with roast, vanilla, and bourbon presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
