on tap @ the brewery - pours a deep gold with a small white cap...aromas of, well, butter tarts..spices biscuity malts and buttery tones....medium bodied, rounded character....Flavor..just like biting into a butter tart but the sweetness is subdued and there is enough hopping to make the mid palate sense some light complexity...long wet finish where the bitter tart flavors are subdued by enough bittering to keep it from being too sweet...interesting brew
