Brewed in reverence to the classic German Hefeweizen, Longer Days, Shorter Nights is crafted with 100% German malt, hops, and a traditional wheat beer yeast strain. This soft, balanced wheat beer is a nod to warmer days ahead—full of bright, familiar notes of banana, clove, bubblegum, and wheat.

look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.5
on tap at the brewery and in cans - pours a clouded gold in the glass with a 2 finger bone white cap...aroma has faint tones of banana, clove but these are almost eclipsed by the biscuity malts and spicey hop notes....medium bodied, spritzy, balanced.....flavor has a big chew on dusty wheat malts, well balanced by spicey lightly bitter hops, a sour decrement and very demure clove and banana tones ride under these 2 main tastes....clean slightly dry, lightly bitter finish has a biscuity snap at the end.....fairly weak in the clove-banana phenols and eaters...must have used either cheap or expired yeast....just the same this is a very serviceable wheat ale for quenching
