Tall can into a tulip glass at home.
Hazed pour, lasting frothy and creamy cap and leaves a helathy load of stickage.
Mild, resiny, fruity hop forward sniff.
Boldly flavorful DIPA, resiny and gritty, notes of grapefruit, waves of lime, hoppy in a west coast/old school fashion....solid, but not overly inspiring....

Sampling a 16 oz can cold and poured into my snifter. the beer pours an only faintly cloudy golden color. Nice to have a little clarity on this beer. My can says 8.6% which is slightly different than the list here, probably different batches. A dense bright white head of 2 cm foams up and fades throughout the sampling, but remains a sturdy edge layer.
Aroma is citrus notes and a bit of pine and resin mix, also a bit of herbal tea and buried caramel. a bit olde school and new school IPA mixed together, I like it.
First sip reveals an average body with a sticky texture and fine gentle carbonation. The beer is pretty easy to drink and does coat my palate after each sip. But the booze is well hidden for sure.
Flavor is some grainy caramel and then all citrus hops with a bit of pine sap bite on the finish. Acutally pretty well balanced between fruity and biting hop notes. I havent had many beers from this brewery but I do like this IPA. It is a solid mix of flavors and aromas and works well within itself. A nice hop forward beer to look for.

A: The beer is hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down a bit but consistently left a layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of orange citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a lot of flavors of orange citrus along with a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite drinkable for an Imperial IPA as it does a very good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.
Serving type: crowler
