Black[I am somewhat colorblind, so subtle hues I miss]. No appreciable head [a bit of a disappointment]; poured on tap. Subtle caramel malt. Slightly bittersweet, some caramel noticed. No off flavors, well balanced; taste was stable from the first sip to the last gulp. Excellent body, not syrupy or limp. Even at 10ABV a second pour would be welcomed; alas, time and she who must be obeyed would not allow.
