Rouses Market #54

very recent visit to this place in Gulf Shores and I'd say it's the best spot for craft beer. Liquid latitude seems to have fallen quite a bit from it's glory days. als and Island liquor don't have a wide selection.

Rouses had a huge selection of local beers, and for hop heads they had a solid selection of Parish, including Ghost in the machine (cans and bottles), bloom, dr juice, and inifinite ghost which dropped while I was in town. Vibe, service ratings - it's a grocery store, not much to say there. Certainly check dates, ghost was 1.5 months old

good selection of craft beers, reasonably priced, and they sell singles. Great place to mix and match a couple of six packs for a weekend at the beach.

 

I have shopped for beer at Rouses in MS and LA before, so I thought I'd stop in on my way to the beach. Typical supermarket feel, smell of shrimp was in the air. There is a good selection of regional craft beer, as well as some national brands. There are some imports, and a small amount of bombers. Singles section was fairly large. Everything is clearly priced and priced fairly. There was a young man working the beer aisle, and service is friendly. Overall it's worth a stop if in the area.
