My oldest son lives in Winston-Salem, so we decided to stop by BJ’s while in town visiting.
All of the BJ's locations I have been to seem to be pretty cookie cutter in their appearance, with a large and open interior with lots of flat screen TV's. Windows and overhead/garage doors provide quite a bit of natural light.
As with all of the BJ’s locations I have visited, the food is very good. We usually get the pizza, as it is probably the best thing on the menu. They have 7-8 house brand beers, on this visit I had the Piranha Pale Ale, the Jeremiah Irish Red Ale, and a Nutty Brewnette Brown Ale. The beer, as always was quite good. They also have very good house brand Root Beer and Cream Soda.
Service at this location (like most) was good, with the servers coming around often to check on us. They were friendly and attentive.
Overall, BJ's is very consistent from one location to the next, and we always enjoy our experience when we visit one.

Above average joint, not outstanding, but I'd recommend it. Vibe tended towards a sports bar, but mostly due to it being Saturday afternoon with Basketball games on. I could see a different vibe on days when sports would not be as prevalent. Good tap selection, several of their own and some local and NC brews mixed in. From listening to their interactions with other patrons, as well as my own, the staff seemed pretty knowledgeable on the beer selections. Service was above average and the food was pretty good, not great, but about what you'd expect.

Went here with some friends to watch some football. Been wanting to try this place since it opened. Decent amount of TVs around the place, but not in-your-face as some other "sports bar" go. As previous reviewer stated, this seemed to cater to an older crowd, not that that's a bad thing.
Had their own offerings of beer, and a decent local selection as well on tap. first thing I noticed was the prices. $1-3 per pint more than any other place I've been to. I guess being based out of Cali comes with Cali prices. Average pint price I'd say was $6.50, with some creeping near $8. No thanks.
Food was above average and decently priced. Had some wings, on the smaller side but otherwise well done.
Overall, not a bad place, but I'd go somewhere with better prices and beer deals if given the choice.

This place has the typical vibe of a chain restaurant, nothing about the interior of the place is noteworthy and if it wasn't for the house beers it could easily be mistaken for some other popular chain restaurant. The crowd was varied though a little on the older side - I would guess that most of the patrons when I visited on a Saturday afternoon were in their 30s and up.
Beers were well poured, came in proper glassware, were served with a proper amount of head and at the proper temperature.
Service was friendly and somewhat knowledgeable (though really only about the house beers). Service was attentive without being overbearing.
I did not have any food on my visit.
