In The Mix Brewery & Creamery

Small place in a tiny town off the shores of Lake Ontario. Straight bar to the right of the entry seats about 10, with a few tables opposite the bar. Only 6 of their own beers on tap, and about another 6 MBC. I had the Hazy Session and the Not So Oktoberfest, the latter being very tasty and my favorite. What was most interesting was that they make ice cream with their beer, and I had my first flight of ice creams at a brewery and they were great, smooth and very flavorful. I liked the Maple Walnut Express the best, you could taste the beers in all of them. Very personable bartender. A great stop for something different with your beer, it's ashamed they're so far off the beaten track. But In The Mix is well worth the detour.
