Awesome rehab of an old build. Very nice servers and a excellent burger. Just had the ipa and the dipa. Both worthy and 2-1 at happy hour so bonus. Check it out

One of three breweries in the Plattsburgh area and a well worthy visit for me as I was quite impressed with their Blueberry Lager which I could tell was brewed with real blueberries. Their amber/red ale was pretty good too. But if anything, I was glad that they let me in early and let me sit at the bar admiring the view before I was able to be served. Really nice low key soft vibe of the place that I really liked. I could tell the servers got along well and that they had fun working there. Tons of smiles on the entire staff which speaks volumes. My Philly cheesesteak was served on a hamburger bun, but au contraire, just because it was served differently doesn't mean it was crappy. I'd say my sandwich was absolutely phenomenal along with the herb sealed fries. Between this and Oval Craft, it's going to be a toss up of who I appreciate more, just really hard to say, gosh.

Cool location in Plattsburgh. Located in an 1800's era stone barracks. Good selection of flat breads, burgers and sandwiches. Beer selection is good, beers were all average or slightly above for the style. Smoked porter and double ipa were both winners.

a very old military housing building turned into a brewery and event center and restaurant and inn and a bunch of other functions, just south of plattsburg proper. its sper cool, long and narrow, two stories, and historical. they had a real underhwelming selection, basic styles and no more than four of them, but they are new enough for this to be forgivable, and the beer is solid, so no worries. an old stone structure with huge long front patio and a revolutionary war era theme. brew house is clean and nice, downstairs, very neatly arranged. a little weird to get to, seemingly too slow for the time of day and day of the week we visited, but the vibe is great. humble young man behind the bar, female owner there too, drinking beer, chatty and charismatic, welcoming. the ipa and the smoked porter both were great, amber ale less amazing but still nice, and awesome and affordable sandwiches for lunch. i like the taproom, and they also have a large space for weddings and retirement parties and whatnot upstairs. mellow and old but clean and comfortable too, they have done an fantastic job building it out. i bet this place will be killing it in a year. i liked the experience and will be back for sure, but to be viable i think you need a larger and more diverse range of beers, irrespective of quality, im sure they will get there. real neat that this part of the world is getting beery too now after all these years...
