-murky brown tap pour with a prominent anise aroma and flavor (likely from fennel seed based on description). Carbonation is low. Other unique-for-beer flavors were difficult to identify, but likely were selected from a foggy garden. There is no crispness here, but there is a tingly herb finish. I am pleased I tried one of these. It truly seems to have been brewed by gnomes... with skills.
