Ugh. Disgusting. Not a clearly hazy IPA. Once every 2 years I won't finish a beer. It hurts. But I just can't....

Personally not a fan. As a someone living in VT we have an abundance of amazing worldclass IPAs, APAs AIPAs etc. I found this to be lacking on a few notes. Over carbonated, decent head, and nice hop forward taste but the after taste is lacking. Personal opinion: unpalatable, strong taste but too strong of a malt/ rough finish. Like chewing gum that goes has no flavor after a minute.

Canned 10/26/17.
Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a slightly hazy, medium amber body with nice sticky lacing. Nose of some tropical fruit and citrus, orange mostly. Taste of the same fruit with a nice bitterness on the back end and finishing smoothly. Nice feel for a DIPA and overall this is more a DIPA to me than a NEIPA (as labeled) and I'm reviewing it as a DIPA because it is categorized as such. When will there be a new NEIPA style on these pages?

This beer smells great and has great labeling and naming and is attractive as sold. The malt profile is pronounced and tastes overly dark for an NE IPA. The nose is good.. Like simcoe and citra as described. The beer is overly carbonated for the style. Mouthfeel is somewhat soft and somewhat juicy but this sensation is quickly overcame by malt and lingering bitterness. Not worth the price.

Overall a good beer, but a poor representation of NEIPA.
Appearance- clear, dark orange with half a finger of head, which left decent lacing.
Aroma- overwhelming pine aroma with some melon and citrus playing in the background. Light biscuit scent.
Taste- citrus/pine more balanced in the flavor. Some bready flavors after a couple sips.
Feel- more bitter (I’m guessing from the Simcoe) than most NEIPAs I’ve had, but it wasn’t bad. Carbonation is excellent. Mouthfeel is easily the best part about this beer.
I enjoyed this brew, but not for what it was advertised as. Buyer beware.

Bottom of the can stamped 09/22/2017.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy semi-burnt dark bronzed color with a sly transparency about it. Carbonation felt fine. Slight spider web in it's lace after a finger's worth of white foamy head fell off.
The aroma had a sweet citrusy to melon-like character flowing over top of a light sweet pine. Little bit of biscuits at the end.
The flavor brought the sweet in front of a subsiding bitterness trying to crisp up the aftertaste but in the end somewhat missing out.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Finish was sticky but not cloying with some pine and citrus.
Overall, I don't mind this for me, but well, as a New England styled DIPA, it needs some work to be a contender.
