An easy-drinking oat pale ale brewed with 7C's and Ahtanum hops. Light in color and body with a medium and balanced dryness which has a floral aroma to start and a fresh orange blossom flavor that trails off with minimal bitterness at the end

Howler from the brewery
A: Pours a golden yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a nice cap that leaves some good lacing
S: Citrus, grass, some bready malt, and light floral notes
T: Starts off with the floral and grassy hop notes and then picks up very light citrus before the sweet breadiness kicks in. Finishes with lingering bready notes and a touch of floral hops
M: Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. On the smooth side thanks to the oats
O: A solid pale ale that is very easy to drink. Well balanced. Thumbs up

Tasted at brewery 02-15-19 and from growler a few days later. Wonderful crisp and fresh aroma that was piney, floral on top of the oaty base. Surprisingly complex flavors given it’s lighter than other area IPAs, with multiple layers that started crisp and refreshing and continued to evolve into piney and mellow fruit/citrus notes over the oat bread base through aftertaste. Well balanced, very enjoyable!

Bottom of the can stamped "06/12/18."
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a mildly transparent yellow color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head. This swiftly slid off to provide a slight messy lace.
The aroma gave off a clean laundry smell with freshly cut grass, a white bready malt and sweet oats rounding it all out.
The flavor pretty much copied the aroma fairly sweet. Mild oaty to bready aftertaste pushing out most of the hoppy character.
The mouthfeel was extremely smooth along my tongue. I'd say between light and medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV seemed close to what was projected. Finish was semi-sticky with a mild bready maltiness.
Overall, a mostly solid effort for an oatmeal pale ale. Could be a decent beer with a steak sandwich.
