A smooth, medium bodied Marzen styled German beer with a malty flavor and a rich toasty aroma. A cold conditioned lager where time and temperature matter.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a really nice looking bronzed copper color capped by a sheet of white foamy head sliding off appropriately to leave a messy lace surrounding my glass.
The aroma had a soft semi-sweet roasty nutty toastiness up front rolling into some lager yeasty sweetness then mixing it up with grassy to earthy hop tones on the back end.
The flavor slightly leaned towards the sweet end but did seem to pull a substantial earthy bitter hoppiness as it warmed. Semi-nutty and toasty aftertaste punching light earthy hints.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good and lingered nicely as it leads to a good smooth finish, slight grip and no stickiness whatsoever.
Overall, as an Oktoberfest this one definitely does the trick. I'd bang again.
