Six pack of cans. Best by date: 11/12/23.
Pours a semi-hazy caramel in color with hints of gold. A nice finger thick, foamy head sits atop after the pour, subsiding to a thin layer of lace over time. Ample lacing as you drink. Carbonation looks average to a tick above. Reminds me a bit of apple cider in appearance, although a bit less cloudy. Interesting look for a pale ale.
Aroma is heavily fruity and maybe a touch sour. Apples, cantaloupe, grape, citrus, lychee. Hard to discern the malts, although as it warms some cereal maltiness comes through, not unlike Wheaties.
Taste follows the nose well. Lots of fruity hippiness, dominated by lychee and melon. A bit spicy and a bit of herbalness. The malts mostly stay out of the way other than lending body, though I do detect a little bit of cereal maltiness and maybe a hint of caramel. Lingering flavor is lychee and hop spice with some breadiness.
This is medium bodied with prickly carbonation. It comes off a bit thin, crisp finish. Expected a bit more substance given the color.
This is a strange pale ale, not sure I've had one quite like it. In their defense they call it a summer pale ale, whatever that means. It's certainly fruit forward, which is a summer vibe. I don't think I'd seek this one out again, but it certainly wasn't unpleasant. It does offer some complexity in the flavor profile. Cheers!

A: Pours a slightly hazed orange color. A one finger white head forms with good retention and lace.
S: A simple hoppy aroma. Citrus, lemon, lime. Light peppery spice and herbal character.
T: Like the nose, citrus, lemon and light peppery herbal flavors. Though also some apple and melon fruit flavors. This becomes noticeably sweet and bready. A light lingering bitterness is nice.
M/O: A medium body and moderate carbonation. There is a bit of oily/slickness here, and wish it was drier. Though a nice pale ale that I can come back to with ease.
A solid pale ale, and another offering from Equal Parts I enjoy. I can't say its the best of the style I have had, let alone from this brewery. Though still good and enjoyable for what it is. I'd recommend it.

Had this beer from tap at a local pizza shop. Poured into a shaker pint. Golden yellow color with good head and lacing. Slightly sweet, bready smell and taste. Some sharpness at the end with a hint of pine. Decent feel. Good take dog for afternoon walk beer.

On tap at Whole Foods Montrose, served in a shaker pint. Clear, amber gold with a brief head of tan foam and a nice covering of lace. Unassuming aroma of pale grains and lightly dank, piney hops. Light malty body with a touch of caramel; bright, lemony citrus and tropical fruit, pine needles, and repeatedly assertive bitter close. Light to medium body with vigorous carbonation. Light and drinkable pale ale, although not all the notes harmonize.
