Equal Parts Brewing

Notes: We have been experimenting with making what we are calling "hybrid" IPAs with clarity and body towards the west coast end of the spectrum while using malt, yeast and dry hopping techniques more associated with the east coast end of the spectrum. What results is a refreshing IPA that is juicy and fruity while not getting too heavy after having a few.

We brewed Shutdown 6 in this image, with heavy oat additions in the grist and Mosiac and Australian Ella hops in the dry hop. Low bitterness with a nose of passion fruit, mandarin, and ripe mango lead into flavors of tropical fruit and more mango.
