A: Pours a clear amber/orange color. A white head forms that gently recedes to leave some lace behind.
S: There is a slow build up to grains and toasted crackers. Simple, not bad at all, but a little lacking.
T: Again, this takes a while to develop. Toasted malts, cereal grains, and crackers for sure. Toasty is a good description for this, but missing some nuance for my tastes.
M/O: A light body with moderate carbonation. Finishes very clean though. Interesting and good, but not among my favorites at the brewery.
There is nothing particularly wrong with this, and you get what you are advertised. Some hoppy bitterness, or more nuanced malt character would work better for me. As is, a fine lager, but I prefer some of their other lagers on offer. I can see why others would like this though.
