Reticulum is hopped exclusively with South African hop variants African Queen and Southern Star. The nose is berries, with flavors of berry and melon that fade toward spicy and earthy. It is a refreshing departure from pineapple and tropical fruit. Clean and dry on the finish, this beer does not give impressions of being 8.8% ABV.

Poured this beer from a a can purchased at the brewery into a tulip glass. Slightly hazy bright yellow color with good white head and nice curtain lacing. I think this is more akin to a West Coast IPA than a NEIPA. The smell is sweet and a bit fruity. Taste is fruity but piney and a nice earthy bitterness to finish. Overall, a pretty good beer with some very cool can art!
