This installment of the Exotica series is based on the Saturn cocktail, a lesser-known drink of the genre that relies on gin instead of the typical rum.

For this rendition, we brewed our traditional base wort, heavy in oats and wheat, and hopped with tropical HBC472. Mid fermentation we added Lemon, Lime, Passionfruit, and Pineapple, and then let the beer condition on tons of gin botanicals including juniper berry, angelica root, ginger, allspice, and bitter orange peel. We finished this one with a touch of vanilla and almond to give that super-important orgeat flavor.
