Pours an opaque dark brown almost black color with khaki colored head. Chocolate, coffee bean, oats, and some roasted malts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Almost full bodied, in between medium and full, but closer to full. Finishes with roast and cocoa powder notes.

A: Super dark brown or light black with ruby edges. Latte colored foam.
S: Roasted malts, espresso, chocolate, slight char, light brown sugar.
F: Very roasty, espresso, chocolate, slight oat flavor
M: Medium bodied, dry, intense roasty finish.
O: Decent stout, little too dry/roasty bitterness. Would like more body and less roasty

Arrives extremely dark brown with a tan 1" head perched atop it.
Smell is stronger on the coffee and baking chocolate with toasted malts. A little smoke present.
Taste is coffee, baking chocolate, toasty malts, faint hit of licorice.
Lightish body (think Guinness) and carbonation. Not smooth but in the neighborhood. A good brew, but not great in my opinion, needs some body.
