On tap at Calusa Brewery - just a half pour. Looks like a classic hazy IPA, and the scent is light citrus. The first big surprise is that it isn't overly hoppy or very boozy. Very smooth. A nice mix of citrus and resin in the hops. The second big surprise is that the ABV still sneaks up on you. Sip.Sip.Bamm.

As always, Calusa knocks it out of the park with the hops. Having had some triples from the big boys like Other Half, this is a class above. No hop burn, no overpowering booziness. It’s big for sure, but somehow remains super smooth and creamy.

16 oz. can. Hazy pale orange with a very brief white head. Smells of pineapple, mango, and booze. Tastes of bright tropical fruits, alcohol, light sweetness, and then more alcohol. It's not sweet or heavy, but it's heavily alcoholic and slow to drink. A touch of yeastiness at the back end. It's way too boozy for me.

Fantastic TIPA. One of the best in Florida, if not the country. Get some of this stuff fast.
