Appearance - Pours a warm orange amber with two fingers of foamy off-white head.
Smell - piney and citrus hops, grapefruit peel, pine resin, blackcurrant, caramel, raisin, and bready malts.
Taste - Piney and citrus hops upfront. The pine resin, grapefruit peel, blackcurrant, and caramel follow suit. The bready malts finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with a pleasant lingering bitterness.
Overall - A tasty and well hopped DIPA. Hop Federation knows how to utilize the star ingredient and make it shine throughout.
