On-tap at Brown Truck Brewery, High Point, NC
A: The beer is hazy purplish red in color. It poured with a finger high pink head that died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass and sone wisps of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grain and pale malts are present in the nose along with slight hints of boysenberries.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of Belgian yeast and grainy malts with a little stronger hints of boysenberries in the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and slightly grainy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seemed a little rough around the edges compared to what I was expecting as the smell and taste of boysenberries were rather muted.
Serving type: on-tap
