Poured to a tulip Duvel glass.
A: The body appears to be more brownish and a lot less opaque than expected but it still looks nice. The head is beige with no retention nor lacing.
S: The aroma is kind of empty feeling only the presence of the barley with a smaller than expected tone of roastiness.
T: It's a very homogenous beer, being bitter from the sip to the swallow. Which is not what is expected here. I was hoping to find toffee or at least something that would give this beer a more sugary tone.
M: The carbonation is what seems to be better here. But I find it too watery.
O: In general, very watery, this beer has a non-usual profile for a stout. It's too direct, at least in the taste which should be diversified - going from sweet to the bitter, because that's what makes a great oatmeal stout.
