V-The place has a great location on the main drag in Cedaredge. The interior is nothing fancy, but it is clean and has an appealing small-town feel. A medium sized bar is up front and some tables are scattered about. When I visited on a weekday evening at 6:30 pm, the place was packed with locals drinking beer and snacking.
Q-Unfortunately, the beer did not live up to the vibe. I tried all of the 4B's offerings, an IPA, a stout, and a blonde and the stout was the only one worth drinking. The others were flat and had some off flavors. The guest taps were mostly nearby craft options of varying quality.
Ser-My server was friendly and prompt. She didn't know much about the beer she was pouring, but not everyone has to geek out on the stuff, I guess.
Sel-4B's had three of its own beers on tap, including one beer on regular gas and nitro. There were a half-dozen guest taps too. I appreciated that most of the guest taps were from nearby breweries, but the style spectrum was a little narrow.
F-I had a salad and soup, which were OK. The quality of ingredients was mediocre, but things tasted OK and I would eat here over Chili's or the like any day (not that you could find Chili's in Cedaredge).
O-It is cool that a small town like Cedaredge has a place like 4B's, but I wish the beer was better.
