It pours a clear copper with a decent head and some nice lacing. The aroma is not in your face, but some caramel is detected and there is plenty of malt in the nose. There is a touch of alcohol in this extremely malty beer. It has a slight biscuit character and some spiciness (anise). Very tasty, I just couldn't have many of these.
