330 ml bottle from the brewery, sampled one year after the purchase.
Pours pitch black with dense and creamy dark brown head that leaves dense lacing. Aroma is sharp roasted malt, alcohol and dark dried fruit.
Taste is roasted/burnt malt, coffee, tar, some licorice and smoke. Dryish finish with sweet residue remaining on lips and lasting roasted aftertaste. Full body with low carbonation and gentle warming feel.
A solid and very enjoyable Imperial Stout.
