Mildly foggy dark gold with a short white head settling in lumps and dispersing to a thick fuzzy collar.
Old school catty dankness and pine resin pair with graham biscuit. The fiery bitterness is amplified by some triple sec heat, yet seems relatively measured, accented by a touch of citrusy Smarties.
The medium-light body has an airy froth and finishes just dry, hitting a bit stronger than the ABV indicates.

Sept, 2017…changed this beer from a 7.2 PA to a 7.5 IPA. My rating changed from 3.1 to 3.4. Assessed in May, 2018 & raised rating to 4.5 (& ABV to 7.75%). DuWayne has been progressively improving this beer over the last 2 years.
Had both on tap at brewery and from a 22 oz. bomber. Both sources had equal taste (this is important). Earthy with slight citrus background nose, dark yellow hue with white lace, taste of slightly sweet citrus & earthy bitterness with a dank luscious almost woody ending finish.
