Definitely worth a stop, both for the location and the beer. Food too, I think. Bi-level seating area, plenty of space, open and airy. Bustling when we were there, but didn't have to wait long. Beers were all top notch. Very cool design

first stop on a recent beer circuit in bozemen, i liked it here quite a lot. they have a ski lodge sort of feel, a short drive from the airport, overlooking the mountains to the east and a small pond, pretty view from the patio. lots of wood, exposed beams and such, very montana, very cozy for being larger. the brewery is visible from a small window at the bar, and the bar is four sided, i like that. they had seven or eight beers flowing, with the best one hands down being the midas crush, a really insanely incredible expression of el dorado hops, apparently they cant make enough of it, and i can see why! other beers ranged from good to safe and bland, but overall it was solid. that ipa makes it though for sure, highly reccomended! they have a separate ordering area for food, some cooperative kitchen or something, but the food was great, we had a meat and cheese board and some sandwiches and were quite satisfied. fair prices for what you get too. the midas crush makes this one of the most important beer stops in the area. without it, it would be an above average but not life changing taproom. i hope to be back again for more!

(#10 of 49) This was our third stop in Bozeman on this day of our pub crawl. The place was recommended by people that we chatted with at Bozeman Brewing. The pub is located inside a nice, rustic-looking building that was probably built to house this brewery. A patio is located at the rear of the building, and the view of a small lake with the mountains in the background is outstanding.
A country music group was playing that night, so the pub was crowded and the service suffered a bit. We sat at the square-shaped bar that is in the middle of the pub and ordered a sampler flight of all 6 of the beers that were available. Unfortunately our experience here was not up to what we expected. Although the place was highly recommended, we felt that the beers were just a few notches above average. Each one was brewed to its proper style characteristics, but we've come to expect a higher taste quality at breweries that we visit, and we didn't experience that here. Overall we gave the beers a B-minus grade, and the notable one was the Zocala Stout (coffee infused).
Although we did not order food, the brewery appears to have an arrangement with Northside Grille which has an ordering window just off the pub area. On another trip in the future we might make a return visit here to sit on the patio and enjoy the view, and hopefully that will add to the beer drinking experience.

Log cabin meets modern brewery vibe with an incredible view. The outdoor patio looks across a recreation lake towards Bridger Bowl and the mountains just north of Bozeman. I tried all 6 beers they had on tap with everything being of the highest quality and extremely well made. My favorites were the Midas Crush IPA and Steep Terrain DIPA. No stout on at the time, but I would love to come back in the winter and shred Big Sky with some MAP Brewing in tow. The only non-hoppy offerings were a golden ale and an Alt leaving a bit to be desired in the selection department. The bartender/server was working her butt off, they probably could have used one more person, but I can't knock that when I hardly waited. Can't wait to see what this great new MT brewery has in store for the future!
