A 330ml can with a BB of June 2018. Acquired a little while back from Tesco. The label indicates that this beer has received several awards in recent years.

A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned. A bright, hazy amber hue with good carbonation and fine suspended sediment. Yields a vast head of fluffy white foam with excellent retention; this slowly reduces to a persistent surface layer. Nice lacing.

S: Aroma of intensely fruity hops with hints of clementines, citrus zest, mango, pineapple, tropical fruit, white grape, ale yeast, subtle caramel malt and a touch of grain. Fantastic.

T: Tastes of seriously aromatic hops with notes of zesty citrus, mango, tropical fruit, white grape, mild melon, faint leafiness, ale yeast and caramel malt. Pretty dry, with a crisp, hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body. Lightly astringent. Aftertaste of intensely fruity aroma hops, citrus, tropical fruit, ale yeast and subtle malt.

O: Excellent - amazing hop presence. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are incredibly fruity; subdued yeast and malt notes bring up the rear. Nice body, perhaps just a shade too thin. My only criticism would be that the malt character could be slightly more pronounced, However, the hops are sublime. A treat for hop-lovers and well worth sampling.

Clear yellow/amber with decent sized head with medium sized bubbles that holds well. Slightly citrus nose, certainly fruity hops with some tropical notes. Good first taste with some cereal or a slight biscuity flavour alongside the more citrus hops and some pine. Quite crisp. Later the taste is pleasant with some warmth but perhaps a little lack of depth.

Pint at Windsor Arms. Pours a light gold with smallish head (donic pint near the rim) that leaves a bit of foam and lacing. Nose is refreshing W coast hops with good citrus/pine/fruit balance. Taste follows nose with medium bitterness and same fruity/pine/citrus notes. Mouthfeel is med-light...good for style. Overall, a good beer (maybe not memorable) that I'd happily drink again.
