A 330ml can with a BB of Aug 2018. ABV is stated as 4.6%. Acquired a while back from Tesco. The ingredients include unicorn tears....
A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned and quite lively. A bright golden colour with intense carbonation and some light floating sediment. Yields an enormous head of fluffy white foam with good retention; this slowly subsides to a thick surface layer. Nice lacing.
S: Aroma of sharp fruity hops with hints of lemon, citrus zest, peel, tart berries, mild tropical fruit, white grape, subtle grass, earthy yeast and pale malt. Excellent.
T: Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with notes of lemon, zesty citrus, peel, sharp berries, subtle tropical fruit, white grape, earthy yeast and pale malt. Slightly sour, but this pairs well with the hop profile. Very dry, followed by a delicate hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Somewhat astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of tart aromatic hops, citrus, berries, earthy yeast and light malt.
O: Rather nice - a tasty little pale ale. Looks fantastic, while the aroma and flavour are dominated by citrus hops and underpinned by earthy yeast and subtle pale malt. Good body. Very drinkable; would be perfect for hot weather. Worth sampling.
