Lively brewpub on the side of a small shopping plaza. Small U-shaped bar seats about a dozen with tables about the rest of the room and an outdoor patio in the front. 12 beers on tap, I enjoyed both of the chili beers very much, especially the C&S. Trivia night so things got hectic. I did not try the food.

I just stopped in for a growler of the maple bacon porter, but the menu looks good so I will come back for some pizza when I have a chance. The porter's flavor grew on me as I finished it off a couple of days later.

what a cool little place, it seems like colorado springs is the next craft beer destination, with tons of cool new breweries having opened up recently. i liked this place a lot, quaint and small and humble on the inside, with some high top tables and a wrap around bar. surprisingly little in here, minimalist but comfortable. they had a solid selection of beers on tap, maybe eight or more of their own, with a few guest taps that were lager focused. i had a coconut brown that was absolutely sensational, and enjoyed their ipa very much as well. the beers were much higher quality than i thought they would be, and i was impressed overall. they also do pizza, which is apparently fantastic, and duck fat french fries, which i need to go back and try. looks like just a barrel at a time in the brew house in back, which should keep them working pretty hard. they had a great representation of different styles going on too which is cool. the folks involved here could not have been any more nice or friendly or welcoming to me, and overall my experience here was fantastic, if a little bit too short. i look forward very much to my next visit. definitely get this place on your radar!
