Copenhagen 13/11 2022. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Red label with a dark red Christmas bow.
Pours unclear amber with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light scent of stone fruit mingling with a citric and dry odor. Peach and apricot. Citrus and lemon. Grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Fine dry and bitter Indian Pale Ale. No Christmas paraphernalia detected.

December 2013: Sample from bottle at local tasting, blind test. Sharpish hoppy aroma and flavour, unbalanced. Nothing "christmassy" about it. I’m not a fan. Will rerate if I bother to buy a bottle.
