Copenhagen 13/9 2022.33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Yellow label with a party eaten cookie.
Pours opaque murky dark brown with sa mid-sized off-white head. Settles thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet, sugary odor mingling with a toasted scent. Caramel, toffee, and a touch of brown sugar. Toasted dark malts.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry and a bit thin.
Not as sweet as the cookie on the label led me to believe.

330 ml bottle, as Ugly Duck Crumblé US Brown Ale, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.9%. Deep brown to mahogany colour, moderate to small off-white to beige head. Aroma of medium roast malts, burnt caramel, burnt breadcrumbs and hazelnut syrup. The flavour is better than expected, has the same elements as the aroma, also distinct bittering hops, not too sweet, all well balanced.
