A rich, dark and malty Baltic porter, with just enough toastiness to balance the sweetness of the malt.

A OK beer but not a porter. Not the look of a porter, nor the smell. Taste wants to say "hey I'm here", but with a tiny little voice, in the background. Overall a OK brown-ish brew, but not a porter.

Copenhagen 20/6 2024. 44 cl can from Føtex, Hvidovrevej, Hvidovre. Brown can with a drawing of a working man hauling beer barrels.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Disappears completely after a few seconds. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor with a light earthy touch. Sweet, toasted malts, toffee and brown sugar. Coffee and leather.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed y a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. Finish is thin.
Not enough substance to feed a working man.
