Collaboration with Fanø Bryghus.
You know it's wrong. Man and duck are not naturally friends, especially around Christmas. But you are great together, you make great things together. We brewed this light golden hoppy beer with our good frenemies at Fanø Bryghus.
The style is a so-called cold IPA. Brewed with pilsner malt and flaked corn, hopped with Ekuanot, El Dorado and Simcoe and fermented with a lager yeast, we bring you a clean, bold and crisp thirst quencher. Quack!

Copenhagen 3/9 2023. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A bearded fellow communing with a duck on the label.
Pours unclear luminescent yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity, malty odor mingling with a bit of citrus fruit. Dry vibe. Caramel and bread. Ripe peach. Grapefruit and orange.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Well balanced but a bit flat.
