Malts: Pilsner, Wheat, Caramel & Oats. Alc.: 8%. Hops: citra, mosaic, simcoe, azacca IBU: 60. Aroma/Taste: A full-bodied, yet crushable juice bomb to
boost your smile with a wall-to-wall hop vibrancy.

Sometimes you need a catchy name for a new hoppy beer.
What about the title of a sleazy and bluesy shoegaze song from the wastelands of East Kilbride, which also happens to be the nickname of the pilots flying the cobra attack helicopters in Vietnam during the summer of 67? We think it qualifies. Regardless the name, this is a pure hop octane relying on the likes of Simcoe, Azacca, Mosaic and Citra. And lots of it! A full-bodied, yet crushable juice bomb to boost your smile with a wall-to-wall hop vibrancy.

Copenhagen 16/8 2020. 33 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus (formerly Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel). Drawing of military helicopter on the label with a shark mouth painted on the front.

Pours hazy, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented odor of exotic fruit mingling with citric notes. Peach, pineapple and oranges. Sweet decay and alcohol. Sour bitter grape fruit and citrus peeking in.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while into a semi-dry finish.

Fairly light for a DIPA with a fairly good balance between the fermnted sweetness and the citric bitterness.
