This delicious imperial dessert stout is packed with generous amounts of cocoa nibs and vanilla. Lactose and oats provide a creamy texture, great body and sweetness. The chocolate, toffee and molasses from the roasted malts and barley add complexity.

Copenhagen 10/6 2019. 33 cl from draft at Tribeca Ugly Duck, Kbh NV. Tapped from what looks like some Gasoline Appliance.
Pours opaque dark brown with a medium-sized beige head. Settles as fat, 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and laden with alcohol. Brown sugar, molasses, cocoa, nuts, intense caramel. Strong presence of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Soft, fat, viscous, sticky texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a rudimentary bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a lighter bitter twist.
A heartwarming Stout. Do not drink it with your food (as I did). But a pleasurable drink when I got past that.
