Pours a dark brown with a hearty, frothy, foamy head that forms khaki in color. Head retention is good, with no lacing left behind. Aroma is dark fruits, plum, and raisins. Light bready yeast in the mix as well. Flavor profile is smooth notes of dark fruits, plum, and raisins, with notes of doughy biscuit and bread malts and a dash of yeast mixed in. There is a touch of boozy burn on the back end. Mouth feel starts out smooth, but forms a semi-harsh, carbonated feeling on the tongue. It's medium in thickness. Overall, a fair dark ale. The aroma is pleasant, with a flavor profile part of the way there. It lacks smoothness in the finish and feel, but is otherwise a fun sipper.

Pours a cloudy, amber color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, caramel malt, slight Euro yeast, hint of fruit. Fits the style of American Amber / Red Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, caramel malt, slight Euro yeast, hint of hops, hint of wheat, hint of fruit, and a hint of spice. Overall, good appearance, complexity, and body, but weaker aroma and feel.
