In Sri Lanka they know it’s hard to dissuade an elephant from, well, anything. Unless you’re a fragrant orange. You see, farmers there discovered that the native elephants really don’t like citrus. So now they plant orange trees to protect their precious crops from inquisitive trunks. BB 25/12/21. Poured in a stemmed glass at about 8°C. Color golden, some haziness, two fingers of white head, recedes a bit quickly, leaving lacing.
Aroma: orange peel, peach.
Taste: grapefruit, peach. Pleasant sour aftertaste, enough bitterness to balance.
Mouthfeel: moderate carbonation, light/medium body.
Overall: well balanced IPA-style fruity beer.
