A- Pours an opaque black liquid with little to speak of in terms of head: Light layer of Tan foam. No lacing.
S- Distinct and dominant smell of Medium Roast Coffee beans. As an avid coffee drinker, this excited me.
T- Like the aroma, the dominant note in the taste is coffee. Think of a good cold-brewed coffee: Great, strong coffee flavour but silky smooth at the same time. No much else to speak of but I don't mind that..
M- Light-Medium Body and Low carbonation. Easy drinking.
O- Although there's an inherent lack of complexity, this brew offers up solid coffee flavours; the only thing that's keeping this brew around the 3.75/5 range is the fact that there is really nothing else to this beer. I also would've like to seen a more substantial body, but I suppose it's a good starting point for a great local brewery.
